We Do Odd Jobs - Rates/Charges

Below is a general list of our standard rates for the work we perform. Please note that most of our work is charged at an hourly rate, so unless you are given a set quote the work you request will be charged at that hourly rate. General estimates are not a guaranteed price unless stated so by a We Do Odd Jobs employee.

Moving


- Full Home Moving - $65/hour per mover
- Small Moving & Deliveries - $60/hour per mover
- Moving Trucks 15ft 7 Up - $130 flat fee
- Small 10ft Box Truck - $120 flat fee
- Mileage(if we provide a truck) - $1.29/mile between moving addresses
- Habitat for Humanity Delivery - $175 flat fee if within Fairfield, Vacaville, Benicia or Vallejo


Basic Landscaping

- $55 per worker
- Any fees, such as dump/waste removal, that is applicable to your job will be charged to the client.


Gutter Cleaning

- One Story House: $175
- Two Story House: $225
- Business Building/Duplex: $275
- If the gutters are filled to the brim we will add a $50 charge

Appliance

- $95 Diagnosis Fee, turns into hourly if technician can repair on site
- $55/hour for part replacement and repair
- $120/hour for a full unit replacement
- Parts and replacement units are charged to the customer


Miscellaneous Fees

- $15 Service fee for all jobs; this covers costs related to setting up appointments
- $5 Convenience fee if client's pay with a card or through Venmo
- 20% Upcharge for costs related to a specific job; includes material purchases, dump fees, equipment rentals and more



PAYMENT POLICIES

Due Upon Completion

All payments for work performed by We Do Odd Jobs are now due UPON COMPLETION. This means that the crew on site will be ready to collect payment once the work for that day is considered complete. If customers are unable to pay their bill when due, they may have the option to sign up for a monthly payment plan through our financing partner, Wisetack. If the customer still refuses to submit payment, their invoice will then be sent to collections or small claims court.


​Cancellation Policy

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. All appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. Any appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are subject to a $120 cancellation fee.  


Last Minute Booking Policy

Any customer looking to book a job with less than 24 hour notice will be subject to a fee of $10 more per hour per rate or person.
